In summer 2022, Flux Fire Protection were responsible for providing the full completion of passive fire protection services for a new 2 storey emergency department extension at Leighton Hospital, delivered by MTX Contracts.
The development works to provide a “larger, safer and superior environment for patients and staff at this Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust location.” Utilising modern methods of construction, Leighton Hospital has now been provided with 4,200m2 of new emergency care accommodation, delivering 100 new modules in total.

The fire stopping works provided at Leighton Hospital were conducted over a 6 week period and help to bring the hospitals compliance in line with the latest industry standards.
