Flux Fire Protection offers passive fire protection for any and all projects located in and around Doncaster. This includes working across both live construction sites once the initial drylining and first fix mechanical and electrical installations are complete, as well as existing properties which are undergoing improvement works and maintenance. We work closely and carefully with all of our clients to ensure that their projects meet all of the current UK building regulations. This includes making sure that fire compartmentation is maintained within the property and that there are no service penetrations or similar issues present which might compromise fire safety strategy.
We are supported by third party accreditation from the IFC and we make a point of both demonstrating and providing a fully integrated, recorded and audited process to our clients throughout the entire development phase. A Bit about Doncaster
Doncaster is a minster town in South Yorkshire which got its name from the River Don, flowing close to the centre of Doncaster.
Doncaster Minster has a tall tower, a Schulze organ and stained-glass windows, plus a Roman wall in its grounds. The nearby Doncaster Market has hundreds of indoor and outdoor stalls and stands. This includes the Corn Exchange, a grand Victorian shopping centre that survives to this day. Exhibits at the Doncaster Museum and Art Gallery include a rare Cheswold car dating from 1914, making it a pre-WW1 vehicle.
Doncaster is also famous for its horse racing, with one of the oldest racecourses in the world. It hosts two famous horse races – the St. Leger Stakes which holds the title of the oldest classic horse race in the world and the Doncaster Cup which is simply the oldest horse race in the world.
This town has excellent travel links and getting around it is easy, whether you’re travelling on public transport, your own car, by cycling or on foot. The central location of the town arguably makes Doncaster one of Britain’s best connected visitor destinations.
