Passive Fire Protection York

Here at Flux Fire Protection, we specialise in the installation of passive fire protection, acoustic and air insulation systems to ensure that your property meets all it’s requirements with regard to compliance with the current Building Regulations.

Based in Halifax, West Yorkshire, we are ideally situated to serve areas across Yorkshire such as York, Harrogate, Selby and the like. Working with all of the industries leading recognised suppliers, we offer a range of different systems to ensure that your construction project achieves fire compartmentation as required, despite the various service penetrations that naturally occur during the mechanical and electrical installation phase of the project.

With our in-house team of highly trained and experienced operatives, our commitment to best practice is displayed across our projects every time. We are supported with third party independent accreditation from International Fire Consultants (IFC), to demonstrate to our clients our fully recorded and audited procedures from project enquiry, to our initial site surveys, all the way to project handover and completion.

Firestopping Services York

We have invested in industry leading software Bolster Systems to fully integrate our quality control procedures into all of our operations. Each project is uploaded onto the Bolster system at initial site survey along with the fire compartmentation drawings for each floor, when works are under way, each seal is geo-tagged on the drawings, provided an individual seal ID and labelled on site. This seal ID can be identified on the system which records pre-installation photos, post installation photos and records the seal fire integrity rating. This system provides our clients with a one-stop location for all their compliance requirements for handover to their Building Control representatives, containing as-built drawings, O&M manuals and fire test data for all our installed products.
