Key objectives identified at instruction:
- Protecting roof bays using cavity fire barriers
- Prevent smoke from travelling horizontally beneath the roof soffit
- Ensuring that in the event of a fire, personnel can evacuate safely
Services Provided
Working in a compressed timeframe on tight deadlines, Flux Fire coordinated closely with the client team at Nissan to work outside the operating hours of the car plant. Our team of dedicated firestopping specialists worked through evenings, nights and weekends as required to keep the operation of the building ongoing, preventing any loss of trade whilst these complicated works were undertaken.
With lots of preparation work and planning upfront before attending, the work progressed on-site quickly and without problems.
Designed and scoped with the technical team from Firefly, this collaborative approach between supplier and installer worked to resolve any ad-hoc site details and complex interface issues.
